Motorcyclist killed in Dhaka-Mawa Expressway

A motorcyclist was killed on the Dhaka-Mawa Expressway in Hasara, Srinagar, Munshiganj when a bus hit his bike from behind at 7:30pm tonight.
The deceased has been identified as Emon Ibne Talib, 24, of Rooppur area of ​​Ishwardi, Pabna, confirmed Hasara Highway Police Station Officer-in-Charge Abdul Quader Jilani to The Daily Star.
He said, “The deceased lived in Mawa, Munshiganj. On his way back from visiting his sister’s house in Dhaka, a Mawa-bound Falguni Paribahan bus hit his bike from behind. He died on the spot.”
The bus has been impounded.
The body of the deceased would be handed over to his relatives without an autopsy, the OC said.
